About A. Andrew OBeidy
A. Andrew OBeidy, Senior Partner/Litigator at OBeidy & Associates, P. A., heads the Labor and Employment Law Division of the firm. Mr. OBeidy's employment practice extends to claims dealing with Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Overtime, Employment Contracts Negotiation/Enforcement, Tort Claims and Labor Disputes. Mr. OBeidy has lectured on these various Labor and Employment topics throughout his career. Mr. OBeidy served as a member of Florida National Employment Lawyer's Association's (Florida NELA) Board of Director. Mr. OBeidy continues to be an active member of Florida NELA as well as an active member of the National Employment Lawyer's Association. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regularly refers cases to Mr. OBeidy. Mr. OBeidy attended the University of Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Thereafter, Mr. OBeidy attended Howard University School of Law in our nation's capital. Upon completion of his studies, Mr. OBeidy returned to Canada to serve in Her Majesty's Royal Canadian Air Force. After receiving his Commission, Mr. OBeidy trained as a pilot and flew various fixed wing aircraft. When he was not in flight training, Mr. OBeidy worked with the Judge Advocate General's Office. After retiring with distinction from the military, Mr. OBeidy returned to California to practice law. Mr. OBeidy spent four (4) years developing and heading the Employment Law Department at Awad & Awad, LLP. Mr. OBeidy came to south Florida in October 2003 to establish Brody, OBeidy & Marcellus P. A.
