About Adriana M Dinis
Adriana is a citizen of the United States, Venezuela and Portugal. She attended the University of Florida where she graduated with honors with a degree in criminology and sociology and a minor in anthropology. She then attended Stetson University College of Law on a full diversity scholarship where she graduated with cum laude in 2008. While at Stetson Adriana was an editor for the Journal of International Aging Law and Policy and received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for her work with the Guardian Ad Litem Program. Adriana practiced immigration law with the GLS CHILD project of Gulfcoast Legal Services (GLS) from 2008-2014. While at GLS she coordinated AILA Citizenship Day from 2008-2013 as well as monthly advice walk-in clinics. Adriana received the Hero Award from the Intercultural Advocacy Center for her work with undocumented children. She is licensed in Florida and is fluent in Spanish.
