About Alex Louis Braunstein
Alex Braunstein is an associate on LeClairRyan's aviation industry team, representing clients in matters related to aviation and transportation litigation. Alex is an experienced litigator with a track record of success. Prior to joining LeclairRyan, Alex concentrated his practice in complex commercial litigation, including business torts, contract litigation, employment disputes, and real estate litigation. Alex started his legal career as a criminal prosecutor for the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office where he was a prosecutor in the Organized Crime Unit. He prosecuted nearly 60 jury trials to verdict and convicted perpetrators of some of the most violent criminal offenses, including attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, home invasion robbery, and kidnapping. He received his bachelor's in business administration from the University of Florida, where he was a Warrington College of Business Finance Scholar and a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. He went on to earn his juris doctor degree, cum laude , from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he clerked for the Fourth District Court of Appeals, interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, and was an editor for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy and the Florida Journal of International Law
