About Alfred Joseph Tirella

25+ years as a General Practitioner – Civil & Commercial Litigation before all Florida State Courts. My experience has varied from commercial representation (businesses and financial institutions) to advocating for the mentally ill (Baker Act representation.) I have lectured at the university and college levels in legal subject matters.

Believing in “community service” I have participated as guest speaker at various round table discussions and support group gatherings concerning mental illness; have also provided legal guidance to the homeless and participate as a legal panelist on Tampa Bay’s WTVT – Fox 13 “Ask a Lawyer.

” I'm committed to making a difference as a lawyer and advocate. I have served as both Prosecutor and Assistant Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit. I continue to maintain a general civil trial practice in the areas of commercial litigation, negligence & medical malpractice; while exploring teaching, speaking & writing opportunities.
