About Alison Whitney Talbert

Alison Talbert, a native of Gainesville, has practiced law in her hometown since 1990.  She has served as an Assistant State Attorney from 1990 until 2001, when she began private practice with Wershow & Schneider.  She became a partner in 2005.  She practices in the areas of family law, collaborative law, criminal defense and dependency.

With an undergraduate degree in psychology and prior counseling experience, she is able to interact and connect with clients who are going through a difficult time.  There are times in a person's life that simply require a lawyer. For example, a divorce or a criminal charge is a major event that can impact the course of your life for years to come.

Working with experienced legal counsel can make a dramatic difference in how these matters are resolved.
