About Allison G. Mawhinney

Allison Mawhinney represents individuals and entities in civil and workers’ compensation appeals. In addition, Mrs. Mawhinney’s practice includes insurance coverage matters and bad faith claims. Mrs. Mawhinney has co-authored and presented a variety of seminars pertinent to attorneys and insurance professionals.

Topics include bad faith, discovery disputes and ideas for creatively resolving them, hallmarks of cases destined for trial, questionable spinal injury cases, and others. She is admitted to practice before all state courts of Florida as well as federal courts including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

She is a member of the editorial board for Paraclete, a monthly legal journal published by the St. Petersburg Bar Association. She has published articles on topics ranging from vicarious liability claims against vehicle owners to bad faith and conflicts of law. Mrs. Mawhinney is available to represent individuals, employers, government entities, insurance companies and others in the appellate arena.
