ANDREA A. ROBINSON has dedicated her career to seeking justice on behalf of those who have been wronged. As an attorney at Searcy Denney, Ms. Robinson represents clients who have been harmed by careless drivers, defective products, harmful prescription drugs and negligent health care providers. Before joining the firm, Ms.
Robinson was a prosecutor with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. For years, Ms. Robinson fought to protect our local citizens who had been the victims of serious crimes. As a felony attorney, she prosecuted murderers, rapists, sexual predators, armed robbers, and gang members. Ms. Robinson has conducted over 75 jury trials, including many high profile matters.
In 2013, one of Ms. Robinson’s cases made national headlines after she prosecuted—and successfully convicted—a woman who masterminded a multi-million dollar extortion plot. At the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. Robinson also served as the Deputy Chief of County Court, where she trained and supervised over 35 attorneys.
Ms. Robinson is very active within the legal community and was recently named the 2014 Young Lawyer of the Year by the Palm Beach County Bar Association. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association, Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
In April 2014, Ms. Robinson was elected Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Ms. Robinson is also a frequent speaker at local Bar Association events and recently served as a panelist at the county’s annual Bench Bar Conference. In addition to her work with legal organizations, Ms.
Robinson volunteers with the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and is a Co-Chairperson of the League’s largest fundraiser. Ms. Robinson received two undergraduate degrees from Florida State University—Finance and Real Estate—and graduated with honors. She went on to attend the Florida State University College of Law and received her Juris Doctorate.
While in law school, Ms. Robinson was a member of Florida State’s prestigious Mock Trial team.
