My goal is to provide you with Personalized and Individual attention .  I have a personalized, professional approach to working with my estate planning clients, elder law clients and probate clients.  I care about your family and work with you, your children or your parents to develop a plan that will serve you best.

I have chosen to dedicate my legal career to help people like my own family.

I make sure my clients are treated with respect, professionalism and empathy that every person deserves. My goal is to take the fear out of the Estate Planning, Elder Law or Probate Process. Although I've been practicing law since 1992, and handling estate matters and probate since 2002, I was determined to move into the Estate Planning and Elder Law fields following a family tragedy.

My own experiences have led me to see my clients from a different perspective. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland I have my Bachelor’s in Business from Boston University and Law Degree from University of Miami.  Initially a member of the Maryland Bar Association (1992), I practiced in Baltimore prior to giving up on the cold winters.

I opened Andrea L. Jakob, PA in 2007 and I've been practicing in the areas of Wills, Trust and Estates, Elder Law, Business Law, Probate, Personal Injury, and PIP. In a community-related capacity, I have taught at both the college level as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College and at City College and as an instructor of Realtors, On a personal note, I've been married over twenty years and raised two wonderful daughters.
