About Andrew Charles Strecker

I am an experienced trial attorney admitted to practice in Florida, New York, and the Federal System (Southern District of Florida.)  I graduated from Duke University with a degree in Biological Psychology and the University of Miami School of Law.  After graduating from Miami, I spent time as in-house counsel for an internet marketing company with annual revenues exceeding 10 million dollars.

I returned to Florida to take a position with the 15th District Public Defender’s Office.  First assigned to county court, I handled a wide variety of cases including Driving Under the Influence, Domestic Violence, Marijuana Possession, and Assault and Battery.  As an assistant public defender, I was quickly promoted to the felony division where I handled all major felonies including dozens of cases punishable by a life sentence.

I took more than 30 cases to a final jury verdict with the majority of my cases resulting in not guilty verdicts.  This experience afforded me a strong foundation in litigation and trial experience and allowed me to form strong relationships with trial judges and prosecutors. In August of 2009, I opened my own practice with my partner, Charles Fountain.

  Mr Fountain and I have built a thriving practice through a combination of litigation skill, energy, and compassion for our clients.
