A fourth generation entrepreneur, I grew up around businesses and the stress involved in operating your own company. In 2012, I started Metropolitan Law Group to serve the small business community with complex business litigation and transaction needs. Shortly thereafter, I was asked by a few clients to start handling USDA SNAP violation cases.
Initially, I declined to do so, but we were unable to find attorneys in the area who actually knew what to do. So, in 2013, we started practicing SNAP regulatory law, which is now 100% of our caseload. I am not a normal attorney. I have a business background that influences how I practice law.
Everything we do in representing our clients is viewed through the lense of: (1) how is this going to protect our client's revenue? (2) is there a way that we can not only solve the client's regulatory problem, but prevent the problem from ever arising again? Cost benefit analysis are a common part of my conversations with clients, and we tightly control our attorney's fees so that our costs don't balloon.
I am personally invovled in every case my firm handles. It's part of my inner perfectionist, not to mention my severe distaste for losing. This means that we update our case strategies routinely, and stay in contact with our clients at every step in the process. All of my clients have access to my personal cell phone, and I frequently fly all around the country to visit clients' businesses - all in the name of being present and answering my client's questions.
I offer free consultations as a courtesy to business owners, and am happy to schedule those apointments around your business hours.
