About Anthony Thomas Martino

I was born and reared in Tampa, graduating from Jesuit High School. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Zoology from the University of Florida, I moved to Houston to obtain my Doctor of Law degree from South Texas College of Law. My background in Zoology and Life Sciences has helped me represent those seriously injured by better explaining their injuries to the jury.

I have been a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney since early in my trial lawyer career.  I have had the honor of speaking, on many occassions, to doctors and lawyers about litigating serious personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Throughout my career, I have been active with the local bar association activites as well as with state wide trial lawyers on behalf of victims of negligence.

Memberships include: Hillsborough County (Board of Directors, 1993-1995) and American Bar Associations; The Florida Bar (Member, Trial Lawyers Section; Appointed, Florida Judicial Nominating Commission, 13th Judicial Circuit, 1998-2002; Chairman, 2000-2001); Florida Judicial Nominating Commission for the 2nd D.

C.A. (2008-); Florida Justice Association (Trustee, Florida Lawyers Action Group; Member, The President's Club; Eagle Patron and Sustaining Membership; Board of Directors, 1995-; Executive Committee, 1997-2000); Tampa Bay Trial Association (Founding President, 1997); American Association for Justice (Sustaining Member); National Board of Trial Advocacy (Diplomat); National College of Advocacy (Advocate); Million Dollar Advocates Forum; American Board of Trial Advocates (President, Tampa Bay Chapter, 2009-2010).

My wife and I live South Tampa, and together we have 3 grown and married children.
