About Arthur Richard Troell III

Hello and welcome to my Avvo listing. I was born and raised along the Gulf Coast mostly in Texas but with a good deal of time in Oklahoma and Louisiana as well. I attended Katy High School in Katy Texas and originally studied Petroleum Land Management at the University of Texas before seeking my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Organizational Communications.

I received my Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University School of Law where I also started the practice of law first as a Licensed Legal Intern and later as an associate with O. A. "Buck" Cargill, Jr. who was a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and at one time recognized as one of the top twenty-five litigation attorneys.

I have always said that, having been fortunate enough to have started the practice of law with Buck Cargill, I truly learned and appreciated the truth behind the term, "the practice of law" as I learned more about the actual practice of law in just a couple of years from the benefit of Buck Cargill’s fifty years of legal experience than I had learned in three year of excellent education from the School of Law.

Having met my future wife while in Oklahoma City, we made the decision to relocate to her hometown in Florida to be nearer to her mother. Shortly after moving to Okaloosa County Florida, I was again quite fortunate to find a temporary position with Destin attorney Dana C. Matthews and that part time position quickly became a seven year position with Dana Matthews.

In 1996 I opened and ran my own practice in Crestview, Florida where I was active in the community. In 2012 I was pleased to join the firm of Ward & Ketchersid, P.A. where I continue my Florida practice.
