About Ashley Brooke Ackerman

I am currently an Associate Attorney with Stephens & Stevens, and have been an attorney for over ten years, primarily focusing my practice on domestic violence and helping families. I received my JD from Barry University School of Law with a concentration in Children and Family Law. I previously worked as a Guardian Ad Litem for three years, currently serve as a volunteer for Little Smiles and a mentor for young women with Empower.

I previously worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit. Over my 8 years working as a prosecutor, I brought over 60 cases to jury trials, and did extensive work in the domestic violence unit. I was also in the Sober Homes Task Force and eanred a Special Commendation Medal from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in 2019.

I am passionate about giving back to the community I was raised in and helping others. I became a lawyer to be a voice for those would not normally have one in the legal system. When I am not helping her clients, you can probably find me at the baseball fields with my two amazing children.
