Before life as an attorney, I was a teacher for high school and college students. I graduated from Winter Park High School from their international baccalaureate program and earned my B.S. from the University of Florida in 2005, where I majored in Finance and minored in Education. I continued my education at Florida State University and earned my M.

I taught Algebra I through Algebra II IB, geometry, and informal geometry at the Apopka, Winter Park, and East Side High Schools. On the college level, I taught beginning and intermediate algebra at Santa Fe College and Valencia Community College.
While in law school, I was the BLSA International Negotiation Competition National Champion. I graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2014. In my free time, I love to play soccer and has been playing the sport for 22 years. I began my legal career as a Plaintiff's attorney at the Coye Law Firm working in the areas of Family Law, Probate, and Estate Planning, Social Security Disability, Veteran's Disability, and Worker's compensation.
