About Audrey Hildes Schechter

I am an experienced commercial and civil litigator, working in the areas of healthcare fraud, Medicare fraud, Medicaid fraud, Tricare fraud, qui tam (whistle blower), False Claims Act, appellate practice, health care law, and small business contract disputes.  My healthcare fraud cases include those involving physicians, pharmacists, medical devices, kickbacks from drug companies, to name a few.

 I also have experience working as a special magistrate on code and variance issues, and can assist homeowners in these areas. I have practiced in Florida for 27 years, assisting clients and other lawyers in a wide range of litigation and appellate matters. I have provided invaluable litigation and trial assistance in the area of health care fraud and commercial litigation.

Both colleagues and clients rely on me for my ability to dissect complex legal issues and present cohesive, understandable and strong arguments to advance my clients’ positions. Admissions: I am admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the State of New York.

Education: I have an A.B. from Washington University in St. Louis, and a J.D. from Boston University, where I won a book award for professionalism, and served as a Case and Note Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine.
