Since 2003, Benjamin has practiced exclusively in the area of Marital and Family Law. His practice has always been largely the litigation of Marital and Family Law cases, however his experience dictates that litigation is not always necessary. This experience and belief has led him to seek training in the cutting edge area of Collaborative Divorce.
Benjamin is known for his ability to help clients attempt first to reach a private and amicable solution to their family law matters, before their case escalates into costly and emotionally damaging litigation. Even still, he recognizes that some cases require all of the resources, experience, and tenacity that he and the firm offer in a full blown litigation.
Benjamin's approach to the delicate issues that arise in Marital and Family Law is to remain empathetic and understanding toward each individual client, and to never lose sight of his oath to zealously represent his clients' best interests. Benjamin completed a three year term on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee, Section 13F, and served as Chairman for two of those years.
He is member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association as well as the Hillsborough County Family Law Section. He has served as the Community Outreach Chair on the Family Law Executive Counsel.
