Prior to law school, I received a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in American History from the University of Cambridge, where my research and dissertation focused upon transatlantic political culture and constitutional exchanges at the end of the eighteenth century. I further hold a BA in History (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Florida, as well as an AA in History (Summa Cum Laude) from Indian River State College. I am a member of the Royal Historical Society, Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Outside of academia, I am a professional actor and director with more than twenty years of performance and 6 years of directorial experience. My credits include work in the mediums of theater, television, film, and radio. I am a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. While at the University of Cambridge, I rowed bowside in a senior boat for Sidney Sussex College. Now back stateside, I enjoy weight training and rooting for the Florida Gators.
