About Brian D. Kennedy

Brian Kennedy, a shareholder at Jones Foster Johnston & Stubbs, P.A., concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, taxation and corporate law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New Mexico, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.  Mr Kennedy is a member of the Florida Bar (Tax Section), the State Bar of New Mexico, the American Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

  Mr Kennedy has been listed as a "Rising Star" by Law and Politics Florida Super Lawyers Magazine for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Mr Kennedy received his LL.M. from the University of Florida in 2001.  He graduated cum laude with his J.D. from Stetson University in 2000 and received his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University in 1991.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS: Represented a large regional home builder in a one hundred million dollar (plus) asset sale to a national land developer/home builder. Successfully represented local charities before the IRS with respect to maintaining their Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(3) tax exempt status.
