About Byron L Kennedy III

Byron Kennedy was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he was a distinguished military graduate. After serving in the U.S. Army and later a career in sales and publishing, he obtained his law degree from Stetson University where he graduated in the top third of his class while working full time.

He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2007. He spent the first part of his legal career defending folks sued in personal injury claims and has extensive knowledge as to how insurance carriers evaluate cases. That knowledge has helped his clients in obtaining maximum results since moving over to help folks injured through the negligence of others.

Byron has extensive trial experience, a strong bargaining chip against the insurance carriers who are well aware which lawyers will "pull the trigger" and try and a case, rather than folding at the last minute to take the "last best offer." Byron is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida as well as all counties in the State of Florida.

He has tried cases in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco and Sumter counties. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Florida Bar. Byron and his wife of 30+ years have three children and live in St. Petersburg.
