Candace Knox, (known as “Cea” to her colleagues and friends) has been working with the firm for 2 years with experience throughout law school. Before graduating from law school, Cea worked in the Social Security Disability and Worker’s Compensation Department with Harrell & Harrell in Jacksonville, FL.
After passing the bar exam, focused primarily on automobile accidents, premise liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and nursing home cases. She joined the Farah & Farah team in 2017 to start their law offices in Tampa, Florida. During her time at Florida Coastal Law School she served on the Student Bar Association Executive Board for 2 years, interned with the Jacksonville Jaguars Legal Department, and coached softball, part-time, at Episcopal School of Jacksonville as a pitching coach.
She graduated with Pro Bono Honors, a Certificate in Business Law and Legal Research and Writing, and received the FCSL Law Student Recognition Award for her leadership skills as voted by her peers. Cea received a full athletic scholarship in college, earning multiple athletic, leadership, and academic honors and awards, including being an ESPN Softball All-American.
She graduated magna cum laude from Francis Marion University with a B.S. in Political Science. In the spring of 2015, Cea was inducted to her undergraduate Alma Mater, USC-Salkehatchie Athletic Hall of Fame, as the first female athlete to be inducted in the school’s history. Cea proudly still holds many all-time athletic career records.
On her free time Cea enjoys coaching and playing softball, volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem and traveling. She is actively involved in the Florida Bar and Jacksonville Bar Association as well as the Florida Justice Association.
