About Carina Marie Leeson

Carina focuses her practice on family law matters, such as divorce, paternity, timesharing, spousal and child support, and division of assets and liabilites.  She is also trained as a collaborative attorney and promotes alternative dispute resolution services, such as, collaborative divorce and mediation.

Carina began her practice in Palm Beach County, Florida where she formerly served as a Staff Attorney of the 15th Judicial Circuit, assigned to the Circuit Civil, Family, Probate, and Civil Appeals divisions. In private practice, Carina was associated with boutique and national law firms in Palm Beach and Orange Counties, Florida prior to her association with O'Mara Law Group.

Carina is committed to helping familes transition through difficult times by providing her clients with legal counsel and resolving contested issues through settlement efforts when possible, and with court intervention only when necessary.  In reality, most divorce cases settle out of court.  Carina strives to empower her clients to negotiate their own settlements rather than letting a stranger, the judge, make those decisions for them.

Carina has received advanced training in the Collaborative Process, a voluntary, out-of-court dispute resolution method that allows you to keep control of decision-making, preserve your assets/finances, protects your privacy and prioritizes your family relationship, especially when children are involved.
