In 2021, I joined Morgan and Morgan’s Miami office as a Trial/POD Attorney handling cases from the very initial pre-suit phase all the way through resolution, whether that be through settlement or trial. Prior to joining Morgan and Morgan, I was a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney at Rubenstein Law from 2017-2021, in Miami, FL.
I have completed numerous civil jury trials in both State and Federal Court and have resolved close to 1,000 cases in favor of my Clients. I have consistently ranked in the Top 3 of my firm (out of approximately 25) over the past few years in terms of total settlements/verdicts obtained for my Clients.
I fight zealously for each and every client to ensure they receive appropriate compensation for the injuries they have sustained due to another person/entity's negligence. From 2012-2017, I was an Assistant State Attorney specializing in Homicide/Gang Violence in the State Attorney's Office (SAO) for the 4th Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, FL.
Prior to being assigned to the Homicide Unit, I was stationed in Repeat Offender Court (ROC), Division CR-D. Previous to ROC, I was situated on the Circuit Felony Line, where I was promoted to after beginning my career in the Special Assault Division (SAD), co-chair of the Domestic Violence Unit. I completed 47 total jury trials (37 felony/10 Misdemeanor) (32 first chair/15 second chair) as an Assistant State Attorney.
I completed three Homicide jury trials, including one as Lead Counsel, and maintained a 100% conviction rate in all Homicide cases. In April of 2014, I became the first ever State Attorney to compete in the Guns N' Hoses (16th) Annual Charity Boxing Tournament, fighting for the police on the 'Guns' side.
Additionally, I had the honor of receiving the 'Trial Award' for 'Outstanding Performance' in trial in 2016 and also received the SAO 'Rookie of the Year' Award in 2013.
