Carola is the President of Carola Villavicencio, P.A. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and in her native Venezuela. She focuses her practice on both deportation defenses and visas. She has experience in employment-based immigration matters including non-immigrant and immigrant visas, such as H-1B, E1, E2, L1, TN, O1, P1, EB-1, and R1 petitions; labor certification applications before the DOL; employer sponsor and self-sponsored immigrant petitions; and application for adjustment of status and consular processing.
She also assists clients with family based immigration matters including I-130 petitions and application for permanent residence and application to waive inadmissibility before USCIS and the immigration courts. She manages immigration related litigation including administrative appeals before USCIS, the Board of Immigration Appeals and BALCA, removal defense before EOIR, and review of immigration decisions in the U.
S. District Courts and the US Circuit Courts of Appeal. Carola was successful in obtaining a published decision of the Venezuelan TSJ (SC). She is a graduate of the Andres Bello Catholic University School of Law (Abogada ), a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law (LLM ), graduating fifth in her class, a graduate of Miami University School of Law (LLM ), and obtained her law degree from St.
Thomas University School of Law. During law school, Carola was a Staff Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, was recognized in the Dean’s List twice, won a merit scholarship, and earned an award as the best student in Legal Research and Writing.
