About Cathleen Michele Winter

Cathleen Winter is an attorney with the O'Mara Law Group. Cathleen focuses her practice in family law, including areas concerning divorce, alimony and spousal support, child support, custody and visitation, modification proceedings, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements. Cathleen graduated cum laude and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of Florida.

Thereafter, she worked as a family law paralegal for three years gaining extensive experience before pursuing a law degree. Cathleen graduated cum laude and earned a Certificate in Family Law and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Cathleen received a Book Award for Family Law Policy as well as a Book Award for the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic.

Cathleen is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court. She is also the current President of the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association. Cathleen was recognized by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for exceptional and outstanding client service and was listed as the 10 Best Attorneys in Florida in 2018.

 Cathleen was also selected to the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Florida Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
