Christina earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in English, majoring in creative writing. After graduating from UCF, Christina moved to Fort Lauderdale to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University. Christina earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova in May of 2015.
While in law school, she was elected as a board member for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. Christina was also employed as a research assistant to Professor Fran Tetunic, the head of the NSU Dispute Resolution Department, and worked part-time as a law clerk for Carner, Newmark & Cohen, a boutique medical malpractice firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Additionally, Christina also worked closely with Professor Tetunic in the Alternative Dispute Resolution clinic at Nova, helping juveniles navigate through diversionary programs in lieu of jail time for misdemeanor crimes. Christina graduated as a Dean's list scholar for her academic achievements at Nova Southeastern.
After passing the bar exam in September 2015, Christina explored Federal Consumer Protection law under a solo practitioner in Coral Springs, Florida. Christina represented homeowners who were wrongfully charged with force-placed insurance under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and victims of abusive debt collection practices under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.
For the past year, Christina found her niche while working at Arnesen Webb, P.A. where she focused 100% of her attention on homeowner's property insurance claims. At Arnesen Webb, Christina represented homeowners against the insurance company from claim inception through litigation and settlement. Christina now brings her knowledge and experience of insurance law to Pazos Law Group to represent insureds who have been victims of wrongful claim denial, delay, and underpayment by their insurance carriers.
Christina is currently a member of the Florida bar, admitted to multiple federal courts.
