About Christopher D. Codling

Christopher Codling is a Tampa native who earned his legal education from the University of Florida. After law school, he worked as an Assistant State Attorney for Hillsborough and Hernando counties. During this time, he worked on over 85 jury trials. Prior to joining the team at Givens Givens Sparks, PLLC, he worked in the litigation department of one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms, where he defended lawsuits involving commercial litigation, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death.

Today, he is one of the lead trial attorneys representing victims and policyholders in the areas of insurance claims and disputes, personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation, and nursing home abuse. He has been included in the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars® list (2014). Outside of the firm, he is an avid outdoorsman.
