Courtney Siders is a partner in the firm’s subrogation/recovery group, who manages a team of associates in the representation of large loss property subrogation matters. Ms. Siders has over 12 years of criminal and civil trial litigation experience. Ms. Siders has experience in litigating a wide range of property subrogation matters including: residential and commercial fire losses, hurricane related storm damage to both residential and commercial properties; construction defects to both residential and commercial properties; and water damage to both residential and commercial properties.
Ms. Siders also manages the Sinkhole Trial Team alongside Mr Teebagy. Ms. Siders also represents corporate clients in property water losses and construction defects matters. Prior to coming to Powers McNalis Teebagy Luongo, Ms. Siders worked in South Florida defending professional malpractice and general liability matters.
Ms. Siders began her legal career as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in Chicago, Illinois, prosecuting a broad range of criminal cases. During her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Ms. Siders prosecuted sex crimes and high profile murder cases. Ms. Siders was also a member of the Felony Review team in Cook County, wherein she interrogated potential defendants in all violent felony cases throughout the city and obtained certified confessions from homicide and gang crime defendants and sex offenders.
