Courtney Bueno is a licensed attorney practicing in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. She currently is an associate attorney at Lansky Law Group. Courtney attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Courtney is currently an active member in two American Inns of Court, the Tampa Bay Inn of Court for the past seven years and the Tampa Bay Family Law Inn of Court for the past three years.
Courtney is also a member of Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers, and she is currently serving as Secretary of the Brandon Bar Association. While in law school, Courtney was President of the Family Law Society for two years and attained a 4.0 grade designation in her Family Law Course. She also worked to bring Guardian ad Litem training to campus so more students could become involved in helping children.
Courtney was invited to join Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honorary Society and was listed among the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges upon graduation. As a law student Courtney had the privilege of interning for the Honorable Claudia Isom, Circuit Court Judge, in the Probate and Guardianship Division of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.
After law school, Courtney was an associate attorney for a boutique family law firm in Tampa. She also clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth G. Rice, Circuit Court Judge, in the Family Law and Juvenile Delinquency Divisions of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, where she performed legal research and writing for the Court.
Courtney Bueno is a Tampa Bay native. She attended the University of Tampa where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude. Courtney was President of the University of Tampa Honors Council and was involved in several other organizations including Alpha Chi Honorary Society.
Prior to attending law school, Courtney was a Family Development Specialist at Camelot Community Care. In this role she worked with families who were, or who wanted to become, licensed foster parents. While there she was also certified as a M.A.P.P. trainer. Courtney lives in the Tampa Bay area with her husband Alex.
