I assist licensed health care professionals and facilities in their dealings with Florida and federal regulatory bodies, such as the Department of Health, AHCA, Medicare and Medicaid. Some of this work involves obtaining and maintaining a license, responding to overpayment demands or allegations of fraud, and giving advice regarding compliance with fraud and abuse laws including Stark laws.

 I also assist providers in structuring their business transactions to avoid regulatory problems while achieving the goal of the deal.
