Dale W. Delaney is Of Counsel at Butler Pappas. Dale has extensive experience in many areas including: first-party coverage issues, automobile negligence, premises liability, workers' compensation, SIU/Fraud. Prior to joining Butler Pappas, Dale served as an attorney with USAA, Corporate Counsel with FCCI and Senior Trial Attorney with Allstate.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and is admitted to the United States District Court (Middle District) of Florida. His legal expertise includes first-party coverage issues, fraud-multi-claim investigations, fraud-personal injury protection, health care insurance fraud and personal injury protection.

He has handled and consulted on fraud matters throughout the United States and Europe. Dale has spoken about a variety of insurance coverage issues at seminars and has also participated in presenting in-house legal training programs over his career. Dale received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University in 1983.

He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1987. In the community, Dale has worked extensively with the United Way Suncoast-Tampa Bay, Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay and is an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida.
