Daniel Tamaroff is Senior Staff Counsel for American Integrity Insurance Company. Prior to joining the American Integrity, Daniel was a partner at Kelley Kronenberg, in West Palm Beach, Florida and focused his practice on General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defenses, and Commercial Litigation.
Daniel was also a shareholder of a full-service, Miami-based law firm handling all aspects of the civil litigation practice. He represented clients in state and federal litigation involving breach of contract, negligence, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), whistleblower retaliation, employment discrimination, privacy issues, and landlord-tenant disputes.
He also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in federal Intellectual Property litigation and transactional matters. In addition, he acted as outside general counsel for a variety of companies, handling everything from entity structuring and formation, purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases, employee and independent contractor agreements, intellectual property licensing, and various other business contracts.
Daniel also gained commercial litigation experience in Texas’ state and federal courts, representing clients in multimillion dollar construction defect, first-party claims, product liability, and tort litigation. He handled the appellate practice, including preparing and arguing appellate briefs, petitions for writ mandamus, and petition for review, filed with the Texas Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Texas.
Daniel has broad experience with insurance law, including performing coverage review and drafting coverage opinions for cases involving commercial package, homeowner’s, professional, commercial/business automobile, personal automobile, and farm and ranch policies. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Davidson College in North Carolina and then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana.
