David Bercuson

About David Bercuson

David Bercuson is the founder of his own law firm located in Miami, Florida. Providing representation to clients around the country, he focuses his practice exclusively on entertainment law. His clients include television producers, recording artists, record labels, music publishers and composers, and on-air television talent, and he also handles contract negotiations for major record companies.

Mr Bercuson pursued his undergraduate education at Tulane University in New Orleans and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1968. He then went on to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1971. Mr Bercuson is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, and he is a member of the Dade County Bar Association.

During his long and successful career, Mr Bercuson has earned the regard of his colleagues for his track record and high degree of ethics. This is attested to by his receipt of many honors, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.

Mr Bercuson has also been named to the South Florida Legal Guide's "Top Lawyers" list each year since 2001, and he has been recognized as a "Top Attorney" by the Film Recording and Entertainment Council, a South Florida industry group. Mr Bercuson is actively involved in his community as well. He has served as a vice chairman of the Miami-Dade Office of Film & Entertainment, and he has been a member of the steering committee of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
