About David Joshua Maldoff

David J. Maldoff is a Partner at Butler Pappas. David received his Bachelor of Arts, with honors , from the University of Florida in 1999 and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude , from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2003.  David was admitted as a member of The Florida Bar in 2004 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida and the Northern District of Florida.

He practices primarily in the defense of first-party property coverage matters.  These matters often involve claims and lawsuits by homeowners, condominium associations, and businesses for property damage and business interruption losses caused by windstorm, sinkholes, fire, theft, and the presence of Chinese drywall.

David has lectured on Chinese drywall coverage issues at seminars conducted by the Property Loss Research Bureau (PLRB) and Harris Martin Publishing.
