David P. Mr Folkenflik was born in New Jersey and lived part of his childhood in Ohio, before moving to Pinellas County, Florida, as a teenager.

 He is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, and the University of Florida in Gainesville. In addition to enjoying family time when not working on client files, Mr Folkenflik enjoys traveling, participating in standup paddleboarding, kayaking, going to the beach, and doing pilates, and rock wall climbing.

 He also enjoys spectator sports, including football (NFL and college), soccer, baseball and boxing.
