About Dyvonnda G. Thurston

I received both my undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. I have been a member of the Florida bar since 2004. I began my legal career as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Orlando, where I focused on Domestic Violence Sex Crimes. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, I taught at Florida Coastal School of Law.

I also hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Stetson University. In 2013, I became a nationally certified counselor. Currently, I am a Master in the Florida Family Inn of Court. I am admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

I focus my practice in the areas of family law matters: divorce, paternity, parenting plans, timesharing (child custody and visitation), child support, spousal support or alimony, modifications of prior judicial or administrative orders, enforcement or contempt proceedings, injunctions, as well as estate planning.
