About Eric C Miles

Eric Miles is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar association. He enjoys Entertainment, sports and music law. He also favors business contracts, personal injury and mortgage foreclosure defense. Eric grew up in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Eric initially attended Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pa. where he studied Acting. In pursuit of his dream of being a professional actor, Eric made the decision to leave college during his junior year, after auditioning for and being accepted, to perform in Up With People’s Rhythm of the World Tour in 1992.

The World tour took Eric to Australia, Mexico, Canada, 35 Continental states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. Eric traveled with 120 cast members from 20 different Countries. Upon his return from the world tour, Eric decided to move to Orlando, Florida in 1993. He auditioned for and was hired by Universal Studios Florida as an Actor.

He performed in shows such as: Ghostbusters, Nickelodeon’s Game Lab, and The Blues Brothers show. Eric was also selected to become a show director for Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses in 2000. During his Tenure at Universal, Eric was also cast in several television shows such as: Sea Quest DSV on NBC and Nickelodeon’s Kenan and Kel.

He also received roles in several feature films such as: Los Bravos, The Touch, Magic 4 Morons w/ Michael Winslow, Inside Fear Factor Live, Bash, and Michael Winslow Live. Eric was a founding member of the band, Big Bad Willie. The band appeared on the same bill with notable bands such as Sevendust, Three Doors Down, and Caroline Spine when they performed for Earth Day Birthday sponsored by the radio station WJRR in 2000.

The band also opened for 80s rocker Sebastian Bach from the band Skid Row. The Band produced three limited release CDs before disbanding in 2002. Eric also wrote, directed and starred in the feature film entitled “The Last Will”, which was contracted for distribution by Quantum Entertainment and was taken to the Canne Film Festival in 2005 as part of their roster of films.

In 2006, Eric won three Telly awards for his short film entitled “Army Men” which was also featured on the IFC channel. Eric has also produced several feature films and videos such as: The Touch, Army Men, The Last Will, and The Lost Angel starring C. Thomas Howell, John Rhyes-Davies, and Judd Nelson.

In 2006, Eric worked for Bright House Networks as a Creative Services Producer. He wrote, directed, and produced TV commercials for Clients in Volusia and Flagler Counties. In 2007, Eric decided to open up his own advertising agency which included in house video production and multi-media aspects called CreativeLogic, LLC.

He wrote, produced, and directed TV commercials as well as developed company websites, print ads, and radio ads for small to medium sized businesses in the Central Florida area. Eric travelled around the Country in 2008 and 2009 teaching business seminars for Fred Pryor/CareerTrack. After a successful three years as a business owner, Eric decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney.

Eric graduated from the University of Phoenix with a 3.87 GPA and received his bachelor degree in Business Management while working full time in 2006. He was accepted to attend law school in Orlando at Florida A&M College of Law in 2009. While attending law school in the evenings, Eric closed CreativeLogic in 2010.

He accepted a job as a Professor teaching Career Success at Anthem College. Eric taught school during the day and attended Law School in the evenings. Eric graduated from Florida A&M College of Law in 2013 and shortly thereafter passed the July Bar. Eric is a former Assistant State Attorney for the 9th Circuit Court in Orange County Florida.

His primary focus was the prosecution of misdemeanor crimes and appeared in court on nearly a daily basis. When not practicing law, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, creative writing, playing guitar and sports.
