About Eric Tolin Schwartzreich

Born in Westchester County, New York. Mr Schwartzreich was raised in Rye Brook, New York. He attended high school at Kents Hill School in Kents Hill Maine. Upon graduating from high school, Mr Schwartzreich attended Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After college, Mr Schwartzreich attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida earning a Masters in Business Administration.

After receiving his M.B.A., he attended St. Thomas University School of Law earning his Juris Doctor degree. Mr Schwartzreich has extensive statewide trial experience. Mr Schwartzreich has represented and defended clients from charges including Murder, Drug Trafficking, Rape/ Sexual Battery, Grand Theft, Fraud, DUI/DWI, Probation Hearings and Probation Violation Hearings, as well as numerous other criminal charges.

He has represented thousands of clients in the State of Florida. Mr Schwartzreich's trial experience extends over 80 jury and bench trials. Mr Schwartzeich has also represented several law enforcement officers on behalf of the Police Benevolent Association. Mr Schwartzreich and his firm have been featured on Dateline and 48 Hours, as well as been covered by local and state media outlets and newspapers.

Mr Schwartzreich has been mentioned in articles in the ABA Journal, the Daily Business Review, Miami Herald, Sun Sentinel, Orlando Sentinel, Palm Beach Post and other newspapers and periodicals throughout the country and world. Recognizing Mr Schwartzreich's legal knowledge in the criminal justice system, he has been invited and has lectured three times to Russian Judges and Russian law students at the prestigious Russian Legal Academy in Moscow, Russia.

He lectures to law students about the American criminal justice system. Mr Schwartzreich has also been a guest lecturer at Saint Thomas University Law of School. Mr Schwartzreich has been invited by Judges of the 17th Judicial Circuit to lecture to their law students and college students. Mr Schwartzreich has successfully advocated and lobbied in the Florida Legislature as well as local city and county commissions for the firm's clients and for the rights of citizens.

Mr Schwartzreich currently coaches the mock trial team at American Heritage School. His students recently won the best mock trial team in Broward county Florida and were invited to compete in the State finals in Orlando, Florida. In 2011 he was one of teh coaches that coached American Heritage and they won the State champiionship.

 That year they went on to compete in the High School Nationals and came in 19th place in the country. He is a former assistant Public Defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County. In 1995, the Public Defender's Office recognized him as the Intern of the Year. Member of the Florida Bar, former member of the Dade County Bar Association and Federal Bar Association, former Treasurer of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, former President of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Former member of the National Trial Lawyers Association and member of the international Legal Fraternity Phi Delta Phi.

Mr Schwartzreich's past and current community involvement include the Fort Lauderdale Beach Rotary Club. He was previously appointed to the Human Rights Board by former Commissioner Lori Parrish and current Property Appraiser Lori Parrish. He was appointed by Councilwoman Sharon Uria of Plantation to serve as an alternate on the City of Plantation's Zoning Board.

Mr Schwartzreich has been featured on Fox Business News Newtork on the Neil Cavuto Show, Fox Headline News, MSNBC, and other national news networks and continues to be a legal commentator on national news talk shows. He is married to attorney Mila Schwartzreich, who currently works in the legal department for the Broward Sheriff's Office.
