About Erik DeL'Etoile

Erik focuses his practice on employment law, including wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment as well as real estate, foreclosure, and landlord/tenant issues. Erik earned his B.A. in History from the University of Florida. He then went on to obtain his juris doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2009.

While at Stetson, Erik was part of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Society as well as the Tax Law Society. Erik also served as an Intern for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Civil Appeals Panel assisting appellate and trial judges with ongoing appeals. Prior to founding the De L’Etoile Law Firm, Erik worked for a large creditors’ rights law firm, representing major financial lenders throughout the state of Florida.

Erik managed the relationship with one of the Firm’s largest clients as well as Managed the General Litigation Department of the Firm. He handled heavily contested matters including conducting hundreds of trials and mediations. He specialized in complex litigation, residential transactions, loss mitigation, title, eviction and bankruptcy.

Erik also worked as an Associate General Counsel for a Professional Employer Organization. He provided guidance on a wide range of Labor and Employment issues. Specifically, Erik investigated allegations of harassment and discrimination and prepared responses to State and Federal Investigative agencies.

Erik is uniquely qualified through broad experience to assist clients in all types of matters, be it foreclosure defense, a landlord/tenant issue, or wrongful termination and discrimination issue. Each situation is different and the careful consideration to the needs of the client is what separates Erik from other attorneys.

He looks forward to assisting people and developing strategies specific to their legal needs.
