Frandley Julien was born in Milot, Haiti. He's been living in the United States since the year 2006. He attended Miami Dade College where he graduated with Highest Honors, before attending the Honors College at FIU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. Subsequently, he completed a law degree at FIU.
At FIU, Mr Julien was on the Trial Team and was awarded a certificate for outstanding contribution upon graduation. Upon graduation, Mr Julien worked as a prosecutor in Miami-Dade County, but had to part ways with that amazing office due to a family emergency. He then started his own firm in North Miami Beach, in the heart of the Haitian community.
Mr Julien is also a writer. In 2017, he Published "Les Non-Dits de l'Affaire Guy Philippe", the legal chronicle of the arrest in Haiti, and subsequent transfer to the United States of a Haitian senator-elect who was charged with drug trafficking and money laudering. This book was warmly greeted by the community as it covers elements of Haitian, American and International law.
Mr Julien's Op-Ed pieces have also been published by The Miami Herald, The Sun Sentinel, Jamaica Observer and Le National. Mr Julien lives in Miramar with his wife of 21 years, Sarah, their kids, Ed, Olivier, Soukaina and Maxim and their dog, Ash.
