About Frank Albert Ashton

Prior to becoming a trial lawyer, I was an officer in the United States Navy for many years.  I continued that career in the Naval Reserves and retired as a Commander in 2003. My legal career has given me broad experience in a variety of legal fields.  I began work out of law school with one of Florida's largest and best known law firms.

  I then became an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting criminal defendants in County and Circuit Courts.  While a prosecutor, I served as a Felony Division Chief and was a member of the Homicide Prosecution Team. Since 1991, I have been involved exclusively in civil trial practice with an emphasis on personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect/abuse, and brain injury cases.
