After graduating from law school, Justin worked as counsel for a large national insurance provider before moving on to construction law, working for companies involved in private and public projects. Both as in-house counsel for a construction company and while in private practice, Justin has dealt with a variety of construction contracts and obtained substantial recoveries on mechanics’ lien actions.

Representative Experience Successfully represented several subcontractors in lien foreclosure actions resulting in full recoveries in excess of $500,000; achieved complete dismissal of lawsuit on behalf of subcontractor in six figure breach of contract suit, resulting in zero recovery for general contractor after proving subcontractor fully abided by its contractual obligations; effectively brought claim by electrical subcontractor against general contractor for cost impacts and accelerated scheduling in excess of $3,000,000 due to changes in the original scope of work; provided counsel for general contractor in termination of convenience proceedings resulting in full reimbursement to general contractor for materials, parts, labor, overhead and profit after proving project was not constructible as designed, a multi million dollar favorable outcome.
