Jay is one of the three founding members of Frohlich, Gordon & Beason, P.A. He has been representing injured victims and their loved ones throughout southwest Florida since graduating from the Florida State University College of Law in 2002. Jay focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death matters, including automobile negligence, premises liability, and general negligence claims.
His professional achievements and legal skills in this practice area has earned him recognition as a Florida Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2010. Fewer than 2.5% of lawyers in the State of Florida are named a Florida Super Lawyer Rising Star. Jay is also heavily involved in civic and community organizations.
He has served as the chairperson of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee in Charlotte County, which is the group responsible for investigating citizens’ complaints against local attorneys. Jay has been a member of the Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors for seven years, and presently serves as the Board President.
Among his many other community activities, Jay volunteers at his church, and coaches his daughters’ youth soccer teams. Based upon his professional and community activities, Jay was honored to be selected as Fellow in the inaugural class of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy. He was selected to join the class of 60 Fellows from a pool of over 300 applicants.
The Florida Bar Leadership Academy was created under the leadership of then Florida Bar President, Eugene Pettis, to cultivate a diverse network of emerging and experienced leaders committed to improving the administration of justice.
