About Jason Brian Caldow
Jason B. Caldow is a licensed Florida attorney. He practices both criminal defense litigation and civil litigation. He passionately fights for his clients’ rights and finds practical solutions for their needs. Jason received an accounting degree from the University of North Florida, cum laude. He is skilled in tax planning and controversy, asset protection planning, and criminal defense for business fraud and credit matters. Additionally, Jason provides trusted legal advisor services for medical professionals and has an active Veterans Disability practice focused on helping our troops obtain entitled benefits. Prior to entering law school, Jason spent thirteen years with two Fortune 500 insurance companies as a claims adjuster and claims manager. He oversaw claim processing for thousands of personal injury cases. Based on his working knowledge of the operations of insurance companies, Jason is experienced in obtaining favorable case outcomes. Prior to entering private practice, Jason was a Florida Assistant State Attorney. He represented the People of Florida in the 5th and 7th Judicial Circuits. Jason litigated cases in juvenile court and advanced to prosecutions for misdemeanors and serious felony cases. Jason conducted bench trials and jury trials in juvenile court, county court, and circuit court. Jason is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Tax Court, as well as all state courts in Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a committee member of the Tax Practice Management, Taxation Section of the American Bar Association as well as a committee member of the White Collar Crime, Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association. Jason is married to Kristin Caldow, M.D. who is a board certified OB/GYN with an active obstetrical and gynecological practice in Jacksonville. Jason and Kristin live in Jacksonville with their daughter Ayla and son Brock. Jason is a member of Celebration church and volunteers his time and talents to various charitable causes. He is committed to pro bono services with Mended Little Hearts, a non-profit program aimed at helping infants and children born with heart defects and heart disease.
