About Jason Carter Love
Jason is a Jacksonville native, hailing from the Riverside Avondale area. Jason attended RPDS in 5-Points, before going to Darnell Cookman Middle School and Stanton College Prep. He graduated from Stanton and then attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree, where he received a B.A. in Political Science. After graduating from UF, Jason began working for the Clerk of Courts of Duval County, where he was a Deputy Clerk. He worked in the Circuit Civil department, learning the inner workings of the court system. Jason graduated from the Florida State University College of Law and passed the Florida Bar in 2013. Jason began his legal career volunteering for the Public Defender's Office in Jacksonville, Florida in the Juvenile Department. He represented juveniles in delinquency cases for nearly two years before being transferred to Clay County, where he began to represent adult clients dealing with felony cases, which include fraud, theft, drug-related cases, assault and batteries, etc. Jason left the Public Defender's Office in 2016 and formed the Crick & Love, PA with Brian Crick. They currently represent clients in a wide range of cases.
