About Jeanne L Coleman

For the first 7 1/2 years of my legal career I was a prosecutor in Hillsborough County working in the Traffic, Juvenile,  Felony Divisions. I was  a Division Chief in a Felony Division and Chief of the Sexual Offender Division.  After leaving the State Attorney's Office, I began practicing marital and family law and social security disability which I have done for the last 28 years.

  I am a litigator but embrace and encourage collaborative law as well as mediation as a means to resolve family law issues without litigation. I am a member of the Board of Directors of The Florida Orchestra where I serve as Chair of the Community Engagement Committee.  I am on the Board of Directors of the Museum of Science and Industry and a member of the Galaxy Club.

  Since 2014 I have been the Chair of the Clarion Society of the University of South Florida. My hobbies include rowing, swimming, biking, running, backpacking and yoga as well as taking piano lessons and Spanish classes. The philosphy of our firm is "Respect, Resolution and Rebirth" and we are committed to helping our clients through the process in a healthy and supportive way.
