Jeffrey M. Kolokoff is a partner and trial attorney at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He joined QPWB after his term as Miami-Dade County Judge ended. Additionally, Judge Kolokoff is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a skilled financial, banking, mortgage, and insurance fraud investigator.
Judge Kolokoff is admitted in State and Federal Courts in Florida and Colorado, and in the District of Columbia, as well as numerous other courts. Prior to receiving his law degree, Judge Kolokoff worked at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley and gained valuable experience in consumer finance, financial markets, and stock brokerage.
Judge Kolokoff began his legal career as a prosecutor in Miami and focused his practice on complex white collar fraud and tried numerous jury trials to verdict. In addition to fraud cases, Judge Kolokoff also prosecuted drug trafficking, violent crimes, and other crimes. Judge Kolokoff served as Assistant Chief of County Court from 2007-2008 and supervised nearly seventy misdemeanor prosecutors.
Judge Kolokoff departed the State Attorney's Office in 2012 to join Beighley, Myrick, Udell + Lynne and respresented clients in a broad range of matters focusing in civil litigation and defense of fraudulent insurance claims. He was appointed to the Miami-Dade County bench in 2020 and served until his term ended in 2023.
Judge Kolokoff serves on the Professional Ethics Committee of The Florida Bar and previously served as Chair of The Florida Bar Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law. He is a member of numerous organizations including the Miami-Dade Bar Association and League of Prosecutors.
