About Joel J. Ewusiak

Over the past 17 years, Joel has represented many large corporations, small businesses, and individual clients in a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He has also assisted clients in business transactions and operational matters.   Joel is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in the State of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

He has also been admitted on a case-by-case (pro hac vice) basis to litigate and arbitrate disputes in Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Washington and the District of Columbia. Joel began his legal career in 2001 working as an associate at a regional, Miami-based law firm defending some of the largest companies in the country in insurance, breach of contract, and personal injury disputes.

 From 2002 to 2003, Joel served as litigation and corporate counsel for a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) broker-dealer, where his duties included representing the corporation and its subsidiaries in securities arbitration, litigation proceedings, and business transactions.  From 2003 to 2011, Joel worked as an associate and shareholder at a mid-sized, Tampa-based law firm where he represented many individuals and companies, individually and as a group, in lawsuits and arbitration proceedings involving securities, investments, insurance products, financial transactions, breach of contract, statutory violations, and serious injuries.

 From 2011 to 2014, Joel co-owned and operated a law practice.  Since May 2014, Joel has solely-owned and operated his own law practice, Ewusiak Law, P.A. Ewusiak Law, P.A. represents both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation and arbitration matters.
