About Joseph C. Wasch
I have been practicing law for over 35 years. Until 2007, I was with various corporations as vice president and general counsel. Two of those companies were franchise systems. Being in-house gave me tremendous insight into how businesses operate and become successful. In 2007, I put out my shingle as a solo practitioner representing small businesses as their fractional, or part-time, general counsel. One of my clients was a national franchisor of fast casual restaurants with in excess of 400 units. In addition to representing small businesses, I built a franchise practice in which I represent existing franchise systems, start-up franchisors, and franchisees, including area developers, who have issues with their franchisors. While I am mostly a transactional attorney, my son Adam, who has six years of commercial litigation experience, joined the firm last year to assist me with a burgeoning franchise litigation practice.
