About K Denise Haire

K. Denise Haire is Of Counsel at Pearson Bitman LLP. She focuses her practice on appellate and commercial litigation. Denise has drafted dozens of appellate briefs addressing a variety of issues, including standing, admissibility of evidence, and damage awards, and she has appeared as lead counsel in appellate oral arguments.

Denise regularly represents financial institutions in actions involving real property matters and disputes under consumer protection laws, and she has experience in actions involving breach of contract, fraud, construction litigation, and insurance coverage.  She serves as the current Vice Chair and incoming Chair of The Florida Bar Journal Editorial Board.

Denise attended the University of Missouri – Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  Following her undergraduate studies, she attended Vanderbilt University Law School where she earned a Juris Doctorate in 2005.  Denise began her law practice in Nashville, Tennessee, before relocating to Florida.

 She is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Florida.
