Karen is an experienced transactional lawyer and litigator who provides strategic, business-oriented and proactive legal advice and support to her clients. She has practiced law for over twenty years in a wide range of areas, including employment law, commercial litigation, health care, real estate, contracts, business and commercial lending.
A former shareholder of a large regional law firm and senior counsel of a Jacksonville civil litigation firm, she recently served as associate general counsel for a national non-profit health care organization. After graduating from The Bolles School, Karen attended Smith College, graduated cum laude from Tulane University and earned her law degree, with honors, from the University of Florida.
Karen is a Martindale-Hubbel AV Preeminent peer review rated attorney and member of the Florida Bar. She is active in the community and currently serves on the board of Rethreaded, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides employment opportunities for human trafficking survivors. Karen is also a member, deacon and ruling elder of Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach.
